Description: |
As a Master's student in the advanced SYNCAT program at the University of Regensburg, I have gained extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in various fields of chemistry, which I believe will enable me to provide valuable guidance and support to mentees. Throughout my academic journey, I have had the privilege of working with renowned professors and research groups, each contributing to my growth as a scientist. My thesis work, conducted in collaboration with Wacker Chemie, focuses on polymer silicone fluids process chemistry, providing me with industry-relevant expertise. Additionally, I have worked on projects involving photocatalysis with Prof. Dr. Alexander Breder, phosphorus chemistry with Prof. Dr. Robert Wolf, and NMR techniques with Prof. Dr. Ruth Gschwind. These experiences have not only deepened my understanding of various subfields within chemistry but have also honed my ability to adapt to different research environments and collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Furthermore, I have completed a semester-long research internship at Esy Labs GmbH, where I contributed to projects in electrochemistry, showcasing my versatility and willingness to explore new areas. My work in the field of acridinium catalysis, under the guidance of Dr. Joshua Philip Barham, has been acknowledged in a journal publication, demonstrating my commitment to making meaningful contributions to the scientific community. I have also engaged in projects involving continuous flow chemistry, further expanding my skill set and research expertise. I believe that my diverse background and enthusiasm for scientific research make me an ideal candidate to serve as a mentor. I am eager to share my knowledge, experiences, and insights with mentees, helping them navigate the challenges and opportunities they may encounter in their own academic and professional journeys. Through my mentorship, I aim to foster a supportive and collaborative environment that encourages personal and scientific growth. |
